Hydrant Flushing

The city maintenance department will be conducting Fall hydrant and watermain flushing starting Monday, November 6, 2023, from 7am to 3:00pm.
Please be advised that you may have some sediment and discoloring during and/or shortly after flushing hydrants. Please run the cold water in your bathtub for 5-10 minutes prior to using it.

Low water pressure – After this process is complete you notice to still have low water pressure, please check your faucet and water screens for trapped debris.
please avoid washing any clothing during this process. The city recommends that you do not wash white/light colored clothing for your first wash after the hydrant flushing.
